OUR VISION
Helping others find God's perfect love, through Ministering, Growing, Loving, and Praying.
WHAT WE DO
We know God and make God known to others. We are ambassadors of God. Here at Park Hill First Church of God, we believe in the Holy Bible and the teachings of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.
OUR COMMUNITY
Located in Parker, PA, the smallest town in America. The love we give is much bigger than that. We have a Blanket Ministry that offers anointed blankets to those who are sick, homebound, or just needing encouragement from loving people. We also have a children's ministry and a youth ministry. If you would like more information regarding the different ministries we have here, please contact us.

Senior Pastor
Amy Callander
Hello.
Welcome to Park Hill family!
My name is Amy Callander, a servant of Christ Jesus, a wife & friend to a loving husband, Vince, and a mother to two young adults, Dalton & Jaelynn. I get to live in the house our dogs Ruby & Bailee run and enjoy time in the great outdoors walking them. My favorite downtime is spending time with my family, reading and cooking! Oh, yeah, I am the Lead Pastor here!
Although I am not new to the Park Hill family, my roles have changed through the years, but always a servant to my heavenly Father. Prior to committing to Park Hill I held a secular career for 17 years as an LPN staff nurse (10 years in hospice care). I am trained to provide love and care, along with symptom management. Little did I know the Lord was preparing me for a different path. These paths are different, but yet similar. I no longer give medication per say, but get to work under the Great Physician (God) and aid in caring for His people to bring them into glory (I am not responsible for outcomes, but will do all I can to lead you to Him). As the Lord provided the opportunity in October 2022 the Park Hill family voted for me to become the lead pastor. I am humbly, blessed to say together we are challenging our earthly symptoms in faith & surrender, growing-up in Jesus, finding true freedom that comes only through Him, exercising our faith by the power of the Holy Spirit and trusting God with the outcome!
You've an open invitation to join us! I believe your experience will be worshipful, encouraging, challenging, engaging, all in a laid back family atmosphere. We are all about community and like to serve in ministry opportunities. We believe that Jesus puts the church together and encourages you to use the gifts the Holy Spirit has given to serve the church (Ephesians 4:16). We hold hands with the community churches (Circle of Friends) and try to meet weekly in prayer and study (Acts 6:4).
I'm always excited to be together as the family of God and want to see new faces join us! If you are looking for a family, what are you waiting for? God created us in His image on purpose and for a purpose (Genesis 1:27; Ephesians 2:10)! If you don't understand what that means, come and see me, and we can sit together and learn what it means to simply follow Jesus!
Hope to see you soon!
Worship Leader
Tabby Wetzel
Hello website visitors. My name is Tab Wetzel and I lead worship at Park Hill. This position opened in 2021 when the worship pastor retired and I
was asked to fill in ... I have been doing so ever since and loving every minute of it. Yes, it can be challenging but there is so much reward that there is not enough space to write it all down.
I have attended church and Sunday school since as far back as I can remember, thankful for all the guidance, knowledge and wisdom God put in my path. I was raised in the Methodist Church and then later started attending Park Hill. I have always had a relationship with Christ but with age comes wisdom and it was time to have the rubber meet the road. Baptized at a young age in the Methodist Church and then baptized again at Park Hill, I recommitted.
My interest of participating in worship began back in the early 70's, before there were worship teams or leaders. The seed was planted by watching
another young lady play the organ. At such a young age, I participated in a kid's choir directed by the Pastor's wife of the Methodist Church. At the beginning of 4th grade, I began piano lessons with a wonderful lady - Betty Barger. Not only was she a teacher and a friend she was a mentor who had a solid relationship with the Lord ... and my faith continued to blossom. I participated in elementary and high school choirs, marching band, stage band and took organ lessons for a few years. As soon as I was able, I was playing for church services, weddings and school activities.
My husband, Denny, and I have three daughters - Nicole, Abby & Emily, a son-in-law - Caleb, a granddaughter - Hadley and a grandson - Hudson. We are empty nesters but anxiously await visits from the kids. We also have no problem with "if they don't come to us, we go to them". Can't forget, we do have a dog ... who yes was one of the daughter's dogs - Brutus, who keeps us entertained.
As I said earlier "much reward" I have received in this position and I appreciate the opportunity to be part of a great team of talented people who
have a love for God and family. My name may be on the page but believe me when I say it is not I but a group, a team, a family who lead worship
on Sunday mornings. The team is always looking to induct another ... maybe it could be you.
Thank you for visiting the Park Hill website. It would be an honor to meet you in person some Sunday.
Youth Director
Anika Sarokon
Hello!
My name is Anika Sarokon and I am the Youth Leader here at Park Hill!
Before joining the team here, I first started at Youth With A Mission in Las Vegas where I did a Discipleship Training School. This is a five-month program. I spent three months in a classroom learning about God and how to share the gospel, then I went to Nepal and India for a month each. Here is where I learned to let my walls down and truly fell in love with the Lord.
After my Discipleship Training School, I felt the Lord leading me to Wylie, Texas to join the staff at that Youth With A Mission base. There I worked with an afterschool program, as a barista in our coffee shop ministry, street evangelism, and so much more. I also furthered my education even more by doing the secondary school they offered, School of Ministry Development. Here is where I was even further equipped to be a leader in ministry.
I now work full time at Whitehall Camp and Conference Center as the Director of Promotions and Support and part time as the Youth Leader here! I'm so excited to see how the Lord is going to work in me and through me in this season! God has placed us here to be His hands and feet and I can't wait to see how He works in the lives of the youth here at Park Hill.
